A Sustainable Ecosystem Across the Entire Campus
Upon entering the Van Lang Global School campus in Ho Chi Minh City, visitors can immediately sense a distinctive atmosphere. Solar panels line the walkways, providing both shaded spaces and clean energy for campus operations. Rainwater harvesting systems have also been installed to collect and reuse water for the school’s extensive green gardens.
Yet these visible changes are only the surface of a much deeper transformation. Van Lang Global School has progressively integrated sustainability into every aspect of its operations and educational programs, driven largely by the initiative and creativity of its students. The result is a campus that functions as a “living laboratory” — where every system, from waste management to energy production, serves not only as a practical solution but also as a valuable learning tool.
Innovation & Impact Center – A Sustainable Creative Space
The Innovation & Impact Center at Van Lang Global School is a dedicated creative hub designed for students to research, prototype, and experiment with innovative solutions. Established in 2025 within the Van Lang Education Complex, the Center is expected to foster meaningful research projects with strong real-world applications, empowering students to transform ideas into sustainable impact.

Integrated Into the Curriculum
At Van Lang Global School, sustainability is not treated as an optional extracurricular activity — it is embedded directly into the school’s academic foundation.
In mathematics classes, students analyze real-world energy consumption data generated from the school’s solar power systems. In literature courses, they explore environmental stories and perspectives through the works of both Vietnamese and international authors. In economics classes, students develop financial feasibility models for sustainable business initiatives using data drawn from the school’s own green projects.
